What is the meaning of portal host-check enable?
In a wireless networking environment that uses the local forwarding mode, there is no Portal client ARP entry on the AC. To ensure that legitimate users can perform Portal authentication, you need to enable the wireless Portal client legitimacy check function. After this function is enabled, when the device receives an authentication message from an unauthenticated Portal user, it will use the WLAN Snooping table, DHCP Snooping table, and ARP table to check its validity. If the Portal client information is queried in these three tables, it is considered legal and Portal authentication is allowed.
You can use the display ip source binding command to view information about WLAN Snooping entries or DHCP Snooping entries.
