Overallocation of memory resources means that the total memory capacity of all virtual machines on a physical host can exceed the total memory capacity of the actual physical host. However, in this case, memory preemption will occur between virtual machines. It is recommended that the total memory of virtual machines on the same server does not exceed the memory size of the physical host.
