★ Wireless Pre-download Function Introduction

AC===AP

Starting from the AC R5423 version, the AP version pre-download function is supported. When the AP is online, the AC will first deliver the version to the AP (not affecting the normal use of the wireless). After the AP obtains the version, Then select the cutover window to upgrade the AC version, saving the time it takes for the AP to go online and download the version during the upgrade process.

Detailed steps:

1. The new version must be uploaded to the AC first. After the boot-loader is operated, the apimage will be updated to the new version. Do not restart the AC at this moment.

2. You can first use the wlan image-load filepath command to configure the storage path of the AP version to be delivered by the AC on the AC.

3. Execute "wlan ap-image-deploy" in the system view, and all APs will start pre-downloading (does not affect the online status of the APs).

4. Display wlan ap statistics image-download to see the download status.

The whole work can be carried out 2-3 hours before the AC is scheduled to restart. 

It does not matter if a small number of APs are not downloaded. You can also restart the AC directly.。
