How to modify the time on the CAS platform?

 The time information supports modification, which can be done through the frontend or the backend. The way to modify the frontend is to configure the NTP server for synchronization, and the way to modify the backend can use the command: data -s "2022-2-23 10:30:00" to configure the time manually. However, it should be noted that after modifying the system time, it needs to execute the command hwclocl -w to write the time information to BIOS to save it, so that the time will not change after the host reboots.

Please note:

1. If you want to modify the time, first of all, the product must be authorized in advance to the official License, authorized temporary License in the case of time modification will report an error. However, even if the official license is authorized to support time modification, it is recommended to modify the time in the future, not in the past, because there is a risk of data confusion. 

2. In the host clock synchronization needs, if the site environment combined with the use of ONEStor, the demand for clock synchronization is higher, generally between the host error should not be greater than 3 seconds, if not using ONEStor, the demand can be relatively lower, depending on the production environment.
