Problem Description

When AC upgrades the version, one AP is stuck in the IL phase and cannot be upgraded successfully.

From the AC diagnosis, the AP prompts that the download has been repeated after the download:

30720 KB total (912 KB free)

In the old version, the two bins add up to: 21185536 byte

The remaining space on the AP: 912 KB free

And the two bin of the new version add up to 23636992 bytes

It is concluded that there is a core file on this AP, resulting in insufficient flash space on the AP, and the download of the AP version is unsuccessful.

Solution

When AP is in the upper and lower AC versions, we require that the new version size < = the old version + the remaining space

After formatting, the AP goes online again successfully
