ADWAN installation.
Problem Description
When add node at matrix page, there comes error “The default gateway is not available”
Process Analysis
Open the remote console of the ADWAN node OS ,execute command”ifconfig”, it turns out there is ip configuration for Nic.
Ping this Nic’s gateway, Unreachable.
Check the switch configuration, there is no configuration for gateway IP 9.9.9.254. After configure this, the host can ping the gateway then.
Retry add host, success!
Solution
Campus new version check the host gateway, so make sure the campus host can reach it’s gateway, especially when we do the lab, it can be usually be ignored if just layer 2 forwarding.
