Problem Description
When using WeChat
Wi-Fi authentication on Apple devices with iOS 11.3, opening the WeChat
authentication interface in automatic pop-up mode prompts "Error opening
page", resulting in WeChat Wi-Fi authentication failure.
Solution
This issue is caused by the deactivation of the WeChat client wakeup interface, pending the WeChat fix for this issue.
1) When connecting to Wi-Fi, click the <Cancel> button in the upper right corner immediately after the automatic pop-up window, choose not to use the Internet connection, and then manually open the iOS self-contained browser or a third-party browser to trigger WeChat to connect to Wi-Fi authentication.
2) Disable the iOS auto pop-up feature on the Portal device side with the captive-bypass ios enable command.
