When using the Portal
escape function, what is the best way to configure the escape time of the
Portal server and the escape heartbeat interval on the server?
The detection interval
configured on the device should be greater than the escape heartbeat interval
configured on the server, if the server is configured for 60s, it is
recommended that the device be configured for 180s, a triple relationship. If
the detection interval on the device is less than the escape heartbeat interval
on the server, then it will cause the Portal server state on the device to be
up/down. For example, if the device is set to 10s and the server is set to 20s,
when the server detects it sends it every 20s, the device will be up when it
receives it, when the device does not receive it within 10s, the Portal server
will be down again, after waiting for 10s. When the device does not receive it
within 10s, the Portal server will go down again, and after 10s the server
sends a message, the Portal server will go up again, and the cycle will
continue.
