To reduce multicast and broadcast packets in a wireless network, you can enable the 'IPv4 network basic broadcast and multicast packet control' function.

(1) Go to the AP view or AP group ap-model view.

(2) Enable the IPv4 network basic broadcast and multicast packet control function.

After enabling the function, when the AP receives broadcast and multicast packets upstream, the AP will respond to ARP broadcast packets with ARP reply packets locally, drop DHCP broadcast request packets, and process other IPv4 basic broadcast and multicast packets normally.

(3) Configure to reject AP from sending broadcast and multicast packets in the network to the Radio interface.

When the broadcast and multicast packet control function is enabled, the AP will respond to ARP broadcast packets with ARP reply packets locally, drop DHCP broadcast request packets, and forward other packets normally.
