Under the network that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), the terminal uses some Intel wireless adapters that do not support the Wi-Fi 6 network, and the problematic network card driver may not be able to scan the wireless network. This is true even if the network also supports Wi-Fi5 (802.11 ac).?

Problem Description

Under the network that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), the terminal uses some Intel wireless adapters that do not support the Wi-Fi 6 network, and the problematic network card driver may not be able to scan the wireless network. This is true even if the network also supports Wi-Fi5 (802.11 ac).?

Solution

There is a problem with some versions of the Intel NIC Wi-Fi driver, some versions of Intel® Wireless Adapters that support 802.11 ac will not show Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) networks in their scan list, so they cannot connect to the Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless access point even if the access point also supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Upgrade the version of the Intel wireless adapter driver software involved to the specified version, and the model and recommended version of the network card involved are shown in the link below.
