Introduction to Code Values for 802.1x Authentication Failures

802.1x log error AAA processed authentication request and returned error code: AAA processed authentication request and returned error code, with the following values:

1) Code=4: The authentication domain does not exist

2) Code=8: Configuration error in the authentication domain/The shared key configured on the server is inconsistent with the shared key configured on the device/Authentication port 1812 is not enabled/The server and device network are unreachable

3) Code=26: User name or password error/Authentication type error/No device IP address added on the server/Authentication domain configuration error in the service template

Check if the network connection between the device and the AAA server is normal; Check if the AAA server is working properly; Check if the username and password settings are consistent with those on the AAA server; The error codes returned during the authentication process may correspond to multiple situations, please investigate them one by one.
