According to the debug analysis, the AP sent the version download request to the AC three times but did not receive a response, resulting in a timeout. At this time, you need to collect debug information on the AC to see what caused the cause. It may be that the AC did not receive the request message, or the AC refused to reply after receiving the request message, or the AC replied to the message but failed. AP didn't receive it.

According to the debug analysis on the AC, the AC received the version download request (image data request) from the AP, and then directly displayed that the version download failed, and the AP registration entered the Idle state, and no other errors were reported. And found that the AP of the same model that cannot be registered on site is the same phenomenon. It is suspected that there is a problem with the wa5300.ipe version file, and it has been confirmed that there is no problem with this version file.
The on-site AC version is R5426P02, and a version download protection mechanism has been introduced since version 5420.
If the AC upgrades the AP after startup, and all three randomly selected APs of the same model fail to upgrade (if there are multiple models, it will be judged in parallel), at this time the protection mechanism will be triggered, and the subsequent upgrade of the same model AP will be refused. Prevent AP damage caused by issues such as versions.

Solution
If the AC version is 5420 or later, the AP of the same model cannot be registered and online, and the IPE version file of the AP is correct, and the debug directly shows that the version download failed. In this case, it is recommended to disable the version download detection function.
