What should I do if the AP does not have an extension segment?
The main reason for the damage or loss of the AP Bootware extension segment is that the power failure occurs when the AP performs Flash operations (such as upgrading the version), which destroys the files in the Flash. When the basic section of Bootware can be started, the extended section can be booted by loading the extended section in the basic section.
1) When the device is powered on, when System is starting... appears, enter Ctrl + D to enter the basic section;
2) Select <1> Modify Serial Interface Parameter to modify the baud rate (Note: The default baud rate of the device in this case is 9600)
3) After returning to the main menu, enter <3> Update Full BootWare, choose to download the Bootware file, and download.
4) Just use the Xmodem upgrade method of HyperTerminal to upgrade the whole section of Bootware. Open the HyperTerminal, click Send, and choose to send the file.
5) After the download is complete, follow the prompts to upgrade the basic segment and the extended segment.
6) After the upgrade is completed, enter the main menu, enter the menu of modifying the baud rate as in step 2, and modify the baud rate back to the default baud rate.
7) Return to the main menu, enter 0 again, and restart.
