Problem Description

When the AC version is upgraded, one AP has been stuck in the IL stage and cannot be upgraded successfully.

In the AC diagnosis, after the AP prompts that the download is complete, it has been downloading repeatedly:

Process Analysis

Log in to the AP to view the log, the AP has been trying to download the version

The sum of the two bins of the old version is: 21185536 bytes. And the remaining space on the AP: (912 KB free). And the sum of the two bins of the new version is: 23636992 bytes. From this, it can be concluded that there is a core file on this AP, resulting in insufficient flash space on the AP, so the download version of the AP fails.

Solution

When ap is updated on AC, we require: new version size <= old version + remaining space

After passing the format, the AP went online again successfully.
