Problem Description

How to log out the user after Cloudnet Fixed-account authentication enables Authentication free?

Solution

A8:  The customer uses fixed-account authentication, and enables authentication free, Free-Auth Period 365 days, now wants to ban an account, prevent it from connecting to the network, but delete the account in the fixed account list, the terminal can still use the account auth-free online. Since authentication-free is configured on site and the period of authentication-free is 365 days, Cloudnet will maintain an auth-free entry, which cannot be seen from the frontend at present. Every time the terminal goes online, it will first check the auth-free entry (if authentication-free is enabled), and if there is no user information in the auth-free entry, it will check the fixed account list. From the point of view of this process, the auth-free entries should be kept for 365 days, so even if the account information in the fixed account list is deleted, it will not affect the access of the terminal.

Now it is necessary to delete the terminal user's entry in the auth-free entry. Log out the terminal user in the Network/Endpoints/Client Statistics/Client Details to remove the auth-free entry of the terminal user. After deleting, go to the fixed account list to delete the user information. At this time, the terminal needs to enter the username and password when logging in again.
