What is dBi?
dBi is the unit of antenna
benefit, the reference for the omnidirectional antenna, it can be simply
understood as the radiation capacity of the antenna in all directions. As the
antenna gain increases, the width of the wave flap becomes smaller and smaller,
and the propagation distance gradually increases. In general, the antenna gain
of indoor AP does not exceed 5dBi, while the antenna gain of outdoor AP often
exceeds 10dBi.
