All S6520X-SI port indicators are yellow and normally lit, are they faulty?
There are two modes for port indicators: port mode indicators and port status indicators. Port mode indicators have two modes: rate mode (port mode indicator is solid green) and IRF mode (port mode indicator flashes yellow). In IRF mode, the port status indicator is used to display the IRF member number.
When the port mode is in rate mode, the port status indicator will display in different colors. The specific meanings of the indicator lights can be found in the device's hardware introduction manual. The example below is just one possibility: a solid yellow light does not indicate a fault, but rather a lower rate.
