Problem Description
The R4900 G5 server used for user feedback on-site, the hard drive light under the onboard software RAID is not on.
Process Analysis
When using onboard software RAID, the hard disk indicator light is not controlled, when using AHCI mode. After switching to RAID mode, the hard disk indicator light works normally. The operation is as follows:
After the adjustment, you can see an option for VROC SATA controller when you go back to the advanced page.
Solution
Switch to RAID mode according to the above steps, and the indicator light will be normal.
Note: Even if RAID is not configured, normal usage is still possible at this time. The above function is only for switching the RAID card to RAID mode.
