AP frequent offline problem

Traditional AC + Fit AP network

Frequent AP offline with irregularity.

1. Check the AP CAPWAP tunnel down reasons on the AC:

Command: display wlan ap statistics tunnel-down-record

Most of the reasons for tunnel down are Neighbor dead timer expired and Failed to retransmit message, which is usually a link problem;

2. Login to the AP CLI interface, through the display version command to view, found that the offline AP for the appearance of reboot, and further in the ap logbuffer to see the tunnel down for the same reason for Neighbor dead timer expired;

3. If the new version of the ap has a link problem that causes a drop, the ap generates an ap-diag.txt ping file in time, and the ping file is in the flsh. The ping file is in the flsh. Through the more command, the ap's ping record was found to be lost in three messages after the drop, which was judged to be caused by the link problem.

Clearly for the wired link problem, further investigation of the intermediate wired link, found that the wired equipment vibration caused by troubleshooting disappeared.
