Customer desires to allow manage Firewalls security policies based on LDAP user groups / Users.
Problem Description
The customer wishes to enable the management of firewall security policies based on LDAP user groups or individual users.
Process Analysis
The solution we provided involves authenticating users through portal authentication.
Once users are online and their IP and MAC addresses are obtained, we can then apply security policies based on LDAP user groups or individual users.
Solution
1. Integrate Firewall with LDAP server
2. configure portal authentication
3. verify status of users (must be shows online with IP & MAC)
4. Apply security policies as per your wish based on that LDAP users.
