Problem Description

Problem description: Based on the attachment given is related to the Site Recovery Management Configuration Guide, I have followed all the steps mentioned but when I want to add a VM to the Protection Group, that VM does not appear. Can refer to the screenshot below:

Process Analysis

1.Have verified that the VM has no CD or Floppy mounted:

2. Already verified it everything is follow based on that VM, especially the network profile and vswitch, disk path

3.need check the local site and remote site if the vm name is same,

note: the vm name should check the advance info name not the alias.

Solution

Delete the remote site vm whose name is same as the dc vm.
