Network Topology

Null

Problem Description

The customer creates a vswitch0, but in the network topology view of the UIS cluster, vswitch0 is not displayed.

But on the host, you can see that the vswitch0 state is active

Process Analysis

Tried refreshing the network topology page, not shown;

Check the status of vswitch 0 in the background, and it shows that the status of vswitch 0 is normal.

Try to create a new test vswitch in the Host interface and the Network interface of the cluster, the new vswitch created in the Host cannot be displayed in the topology, but the new vswitch created in the Network is displayed normally.

Add vswitch in Host

Add vswitch in Cluster>Network

So, the vswitch added under Host will not be displayed under Network topology, only the new vswitch added under Network can be displayed under topology.

Solution

If the vswitch is not in use, you can re-create the vswitch under Network.

If the vswitch is already running business, you can open the internal CAS interface from UIS, and provide the “Add from Host” function on CAS to migrate the vswitch to Network, and then the vswitch can be displayed normally.

You can try this by opening the CAS page from UIS in the following way

http://UIS-IP:8085

Then go to the Cluster vSwitch interface of CAS, he has an option that should try to add vSwitch from Host.
