Network Topology

Problem Description

The R4700 G5 server automatically shuts down during operation and is able to reboot with power on, but the HDM prompts a hard disk backplane alarm, which disappears after reboot. Logical disk under HDM is lost, single intel SSD member disk is not recognized, after re-plugging the disk status is Unconfigured Bad, and the capacity shows 0 GB.

Process Analysis

Known issue with hard disk: The MOS tube (5015 MOS-FET) inside the hard disk has an oxide breakdown problem, which can cause the internal PLP (Power Loss Protection) circuit to short circuit.
