After configuring the UIS SRM synchronous replication pair, created a new virtual machine to execute the recovery plan, but the task details showed that restore vm failed.
The new virtual machine is created after the block device synchronizes the data.
There is no data of the virtual machine at the backup site.
During the test drill, the synchronization was skipped, so the error message "no file in the storage volume" was displayed.
Because the virtual machine is created after synchronization, it is still necessary to perform synchronization before the drill, otherwise an error will be reported as above, indicating that there is no disk file. After retesting, select Execute synchronization and it will work normally.
It is recommended to select automatic synchronization for initial synchronization. If you select initial manual synchronization or no synchronization, you need to manually synchronize at least once before doing a disaster recovery drill, otherwise the drill will fail.
