Problem Description

After configuring cloud cluster on two WX3820X devices on-site, the following log alarm appeared:

Modifying the system time might cause the license of the absolute time type to be ineffective.

Modifying system time may cause absolute-time-based License to become invalid.

Process Analysis

1. The configured cloud cluster has been successfully established.

2. No time synchronization protocol is configured on-site, nor is the time manually configured.

3. Check the imported authorization, including the imported AP license and the device's built-in pre-license.

Solution

After acknowledgement, it was found that two devices were synchronizing time after the cloud cluster started. Modifying the time may affect pre-authorization, but permanent authorization will not be affected.

This alarm can be ignored. It will disappear after the pre-authorization expires automatically. Alternatively, you can use this command to disable info-center logging output for the specified module: info-center logging suppress module module-name mnemonic { all | mnemonic-value }
