Problem Description
A site found that the number of non-error packets dropped by the firewall reth1 interface continues to increase
Check the drops count of the corresponding Input via command line
Process Analysis
Check the packet-drop count on the physical member ports under this redundant interface and find that the reason is MAC filtering discard
Solution
The non-selected interface confirmed as a redundant port received the discard count of broadcast or multicast packets which does not affect services just continue observing
