Analysis of the phenomenon where the iMC PLAT Professional Edition detached deployment monitoring agent exits directly

1. The site uses a remote database. iMC is the professional edition.
2. The operating system is winserver 2022, and no database or database client is installed locally.
3. During the installation of iMC professional edition, the installation interface pops up, but clicking OK in the orange circle as shown in the figure causes the deployment monitoring agent to exit directly.

2. Refer to the deployment documentation. The installation of SQL Server must be completed before installing the iMC product. After the SQL Server database installation is complete, the operating system must be restarted before proceeding with the iMC installation. For the Professional Edition iMC deployment, if no database exists, click Next. The Professional Edition iMC does not support an embedded database and will directly exit the deployment monitoring agent.

The deployment is split-site, meaning the database is remote. The iMC local site requires installation of a database client.
The on-site environment is SQL Server 2019, so the SQL Server 2019 version database client can be installed. Refer to the database installation guide for steps.
