Problem Description
To use memory with a frequency of 6400MHz, the BIOS version must be upgraded to 7.30.11 or later.
Cause Analysis
Incomplete BIOS support for 6400MHz memory due to un-upgraded AMD source code CodeBase.
Workaround/Solutions
1.
BIOS versions earlier than 7.30.06 (excluding 7.30.06) do not support 6400MHz memory.
For BIOS versions between 7.30.06 and 7.30.10, if an update is not possible due to version control or other restrictions, you can manually set the Memory Target Speed to 6400MHz in the BIOS Setup. Then perform a cold reboot (power off and power on) to apply the setting, thereby enabling support for 6400MHz memory.
2.
Upgrading the BIOS to version 7.30.11 or later completely resolves the support issue for 6400MHz frequency.
