Network Topology

Hyper-converged virtual machine environment that is not VMware

Problem Description

An error "Failed to issue the command" occurs when configuring the network of Unisystem.

Import the tool into the hyper-converged system via the OVA template.

Process Analysis

1. There is no problem with the IP configuration check.

2. H3C's unisystem configuration files are written according to VMware habits, and the unified configuration is delivered according to VMware's ens33, while the virtual network card in the hyper-converged environment is named ens7.

Manually switch to the unisystem background, which is a regular Linux system. Go to the network-scripts directory to configure the network card configuration file, modify the corresponding name and device information, and then restart the network service.

Solution

The temporary solution is as above. After restarting the virtual machine, there may be problems with the configuration, which needs to be reconfigured.

This is an incompatibility issue, and unisystem has not been adapted to it for the time being.
