Problem Description
H3C Uniserver G3 & G5 servers are experiencing issues with SDS log collection failures, repeated HDM restarts, and intermittent inaccessibility.
Cause Analysis
HDM earlier versions generated a large volume of logs, which could easily cause read/write anomalies in the log storage chip during long-term operation, thereby probabilistically triggering an HDM restart.
Note: An HDM restart does not affect the application system or data.
Workaround/Solutions
Upgrade to HDM version 3.49.01 or later.
Note: Manually restart HDM through the HDM interface or power cycle the server. Immediately after HDM restarts, perform the HDM firmware upgrade.
