BIOS (G7 Models + Genoa): M50-BIOS-6.30.44-Dual BIOS and all earlier versions

Problem Description

Changing the Advanced -> AMD CBS -> DF Common Options -> Probe Filter -> Organization option to "Shared" may cause the processor to generate an EX WDT (Watchdog Timeout) MCA error, leading to system hang or unexpected reboot.

Cause Analysis

Workaround/Solutions

H3C recommends setting the Advanced -> AMD CBS -> DF Common Options -> Probe Filter -> Organization option to "Dedicated" and not changing it to "Shared", as this will trigger the issue. "Dedicated" means that multiple memory/CXL channels do not share probe filter storage, while "Shared" indicates that they can.

Currently, AMD has not provided an official solution for this issue. To prevent faults due to misoperation, H3C will temporarily hide the "Shared" option in the Organization setting in the upcoming BIOS version M50-BIOS-6.30.45. If it is necessary to change the Organization option to "Shared", please contact H3C technical support.
