I. Product Model
Network card model: NIC-ETH-N10G-LP-2P, Code: 0231AN1B (Underlying Code: 0631A07T)
The firmware version of the network adapter is lower than 1.1.3.10
Servers equipped with the MuChuang N10G network card may intermittently generate false alarms such as unavailable temperature sensor status or unresponsive PCIe devices on the HDM management interface when the network card firmware version is lower than 1.1.3.10. This issue only causes abnormal display of out-of-band monitoring data and does not affect the actual service functions of the network card or system operation. The specific phenomenon is shown in the figure below.
The temperature sensor status is displayed as N/A on the HDM management interface.

The PCIE device is unresponsive, and the error message is as follows:
Sensor failure---Adapter xxxx has no response for 10 minutes in x slot
Sensor access degraded or unavailable---Adapter xxxx has no response for 5 minutes in x slot

The old firmware versions of the Muchang N10G network card may occasionally cause the I2C bus to hang. When the I2C bus hangs, the HDM will read abnormal status values from the I2C registers of relevant components, fail to execute requested operations properly and receive valid responses. This keeps the signals related to the I2C bus pulled low continuously, eventually leading to out-of-band anomalies.
Upgrade the network adapter firmware to version 1.1.3.10 or higher.
Note: Before upgrading the firmware, ensure the driver version is 1.0.0 or above.
