The customer configures snmp-agent parameters in the UIS background OS, but uIS alarms are not forwarded to third-party platforms
The alarm forwarding logic is based on the UIS cluster in a non-UIS OS. Therefore, pay attention to the following aspects:
1. Configure a third-party server on the UIS webui to enable the third-party server to receive traps and generate alarms. Note that ports 161 and 162 are used.
2.Third-party servers must be able to parse traps and identify traps by compiling MIBs released with UIS versions.
The correct configuration procedure is as follows:
1.Configure the third part snmp server,
2.Obtain the UIS MIB file, you may get from version package or ask for email@example.com;
3. This section uses the IMC as an example to describe how to parse mib files;
4.Upgrade traps parsed from MIB files to alarms.
5.VMs on uis cluster are pressurized so that UIS can generates alarms. Capture packets to view the snmp protocol transmission; the imc platform receives an alarm.
(1)UIS cluster capture: tcpdump -i vswitch0 -ne host 188.8.131.52 -w test.cap
(2)Notice the iMC alarm filtering configuration.
